Petanque and lunch photos from the GPL 2nd February 2026. It was a cold and breezy day but our members ventured out for a little competition. The golf course was wet and muddy but at least the Pétanque course was not flooded. The winners were awarded new prizes, vouchers to spend at the club, and a new raffle was introduced for all our members to participate in the drawing.
For the 18 holes golf the winners were Thierry de Ricard and Robin Wood;
For the 9 holes golf : Bob Mannix and Georges Sorbets;
For the pétanque: Lorenzo Tommasi and Xavier Denis
Raffle winners: Ank van Berkel and Pilar San Feliu
The CICB winter party was held on December 9th at the Barcarola Hotel in San Feliu de Guixoles. The 41 members who attended were in a festive mood as all posed for a photo as they entered the hotel. After dinner, there was dancing to the music from one of Nick West’s famous playlists; a big thank you to Nick for helping to create an enjoyable evening for all.
